My name is Tom De Beukelaer and I’ve always been attracted by sports. As a kid I practiced about every sport, going from diving to rock climbing and everything in between on dry land. But at a later age I got more and more into endurance sports. “The longer, the better”.

Photography and filming has become “my sport in the sport”

For the last decade, my main interest has been Trail running which has evolved to Ultra Trails. For sure, I have my part of endurance with that, but the beauty of the sport lies in the nature and surroundings of where these events take place. So this is where the photography comes into play.

I’ve always been passionate about photography and started learning photography in my childhood up till this very day. I couldn’t wish for a greater canvas then the trails I run on and the mountains that surround me.
So occasionally, I took my camera with me. Eventually, I found it more and more challenging to run all day in order to chase the most fancy shots.

As filming got more and more accessible the last decade, I couldn’t resist getting the hang of it as well. It’s even more fascinating with endless possibilities…
